I haven't written about Japanese foods for a long time.
This is the best sushi in my neighborhood.These are sushi you can eat in Japan!!

Sea urchin is popular among some people. Some people like the sweet taste.
But, I don't really like it so much. It has strong smell.

Japanese Education ~8~ school rule

  I guess there are many kinds of school rules in Japanese school.
Some children want to dress up themselves.
  I have seen children wearing pierced earrings. But usually, Japanese
school don't allow them to do so. And school don't allow to dye
their hair. If the length of skirt is too long or short, she would be
told not to do so.
  And at the junior high school near my workplace, students
go to school with school uniform. I guess school don't allow to
wear their plivate clothes in school. 
  I guess Japanese school focus on training students so that
they obey the rules of group rather than respecting for each
student's character. I guess there is difference between
other cultures in this sense. 
  I used to think these Japanese school tradition is old stylish.
But I am thinking they are worth of keeping the tradition.
The high awareness of respecting for group's rules has
a good aspect in various social scenes , maybe.

Japanese expression ~13~ Ｎａｔｓｕｂａｔｅなつバテ

Natsu means "summer"
Bate means " exhausted"
As you may know, Japanese season is divided clearly.
And in summer we have to spend uncomfortable days.
Especially, (maybe) because of the global warming,
and urbanized too much, the temperature goes up more than
33 degree.
  Natsubate is the word when you are exhausted from the hot days.

In Japan, we have the custom of eating eel so that we prevent from
Natsubate...

 7th in July, I joined a piano club. This video is the performance
I played on the day. It's very difficult for me to play without making mistakes.

Japanese education ~7~ pool

  It's been hot here. It becomes more than 30 degree recently.
Sometimes, the temperature becomes more than 35 degree.
  In Japan, we have the class of swimming at school. So, I wonder
if you have such a class in your country. I am wondering if
people in cold countries have the class of swimming.
 Most of the school
have a pool besides the ground.
  Students learn how to swim the crawl and the breaststroke.
I didn't learn the backstroke and the butterfly stroke.

Japanese traditional culture ~24~ scribbling in childhood

When I was kid, I like to draw something on paper.
This is one of the scribblings, called "he no he no mo he ji" へのへのもへじ

This is a man's face. And his parts are Japanese character, hiragana
”へhe”　”のno”　”へhe”　”のno”　”もmo”　”へhe”　"じji"
じ is the face line.
I am sure you have never heard of this scribbling like above.
But I guess most of Japanese people know this one.

Japanese traditional culture ~23~ Rokuyou 六曜（ろくよう）

At Japanese calender, we often see the Rokuyou（六曜）.
It is said that this tradition came from China at the 14 century
(Wikipedia).
Rokuyou is for knowing the luck of each days.
There are six kind of days.
Sensyou 先勝 it is good luck in the morning, but after two o'clock, it's bad luck.
Tomobiki 友引 events leads friends. So, people don't want to do funeral on this day.
Senbu 先負   bad luck in the morning, normal in the afternoon
Butsumetsu 仏滅 the worst day in the six days. some people don't want to do
good events such as the wedding on this day. Wedding company lowers the price
so much on this day.
Taian 大安 The best day in the six days. People want to do good events on this day.
Syakkou 赤口  normal from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This tradition has still remained in Japan.
Today is Senbu（先負）. Tomorrow is Butsumetsu.
The day of Rokuyou goes around according to the order above.

Japanese traditional culture ~22~ Syuugi 祝儀

  When you have a wedding, what kind of tradition do you have in your culture?
In Japan, relatives, friends, co-workers (you sometimes invite co-workers to
your wedding, if you have good relationship) gives money when they come to
the wedding celemony hall.  It is called Syuugi 祝儀　しゅうぎ.
  The Syuugi is finantial surpport for the couple. I have heard that each people
send 30000 yen for the couple in average. It is said that the bill should be an odd number when it is happy event.
