Don't do this in Japan ~6~ eating garlic at lunch

  I have not written this topic ''Don't do this series" for a long time.
Because it is hard to find this kind of topic.
I've got a topic a few days ago.

  You should take care of eating a garlic at lunch in Japan.

  Japanese people mind eating a dish that has the flavor of garlic at lunch.
Because it smells strongly.
  If you are working, I recommend you don't eat "gyoza" and some kinds of ramen.
And you should take care when you eat a meat dish.

  Do you care of it in your country!?

  1. Yes! It is also a big no-no here in Denmark - I think most people wait with the strongly spiced dishes until the weekend.

    Bulgaria is pretty much the same, but there is one little detail - in the spring time, we make a special salad that contains (among other green things) also green garlic leafes. It is a traditional dish and its good.... it also smells of garlic ;(

  2. Same here, too. Maybe no one would say anything if you smell like garlic, but they would be mad at you... ^^;
    I also try to eat garlic only on the weekend.
