Yesterday was Touji 冬至.(the winter solstice）

In Japanese traditional culture, we put yuzu; an aromatic citron in the bath.
It is a hot bath scented with yuzu.

It is a nice tradition - I read that people take a lime bath and eat pumpkin, because it looks a bit like the sun :)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I think Japanese bathrooms are rather practical. They types of bathtubes that you have are much more economic and efficient then the types that are popular here in Europe. Its a waste of water over here :(
