My works ~11~ "Biwa houshi"

I have started writing a story about Biwa houshi.
Biwa houshi is a blind man who was the story teller in old age.
Biwa houshi told some brave stories of warriors, playing the instrument, called Biwa.
I learned that there was a story teller, like biwa houshi, called scops in England.

 Do you know "crops"?

crops is something different, but a scop - yes, its a very interesting concept, isn't it.

I think a scop was a bit higher then a gleeman. They not only recited poems and songs, but they also wrote some of the stuff themselfs. But I am not sure if they were blind, I actually do not think so. I remember reading that they used harps as a musical instrument back then.

I am looking forward to your story, and I hope you have time to share it here when it is ready :)

The text I read says there was a
storyteller,called scops.
I'm not sure of the difference.
This is my first time I heard
such people in Europe.
There would be a lot of things
I don't know in European history.
Yes, on the text, it is written
"The stories were often sung to the
music of harp". You know very well.

The last one I finished the first
draft was 125 papers! I can't translate
those many papers into English. It's
too hard for me.
I will write about 10 papers at this
time maybe. So, I hopefully challenge
to share the translation here on this
blog. I would like to see the reaction
of other culture's people.
