Japanese food ~36~A saury Sanma

The season for saury has arrived.
Do you eat saury in your country?
If you live in Japan, you can enjoy eating fish in each season.
Japan is surrounded by the ocean. So, we have the habit of eating fish frequently.
There might be a manner when you eat saury. You should eat it cleanly.

I think eatting fish is a special skill. I saw a movie once, where a girl age a fish with chopsticks and when she was done, there were only the fish bones left - no hands used :) I have to admit, I can never do that, but then again, I am coming from a land where fish is a very rare dish on the table...

Why is this fish special?

Special???
We often see this fish on the table.
Fall is the best season of this fish.
Oh, you don't often eat fish in daily
life?
It's hard for me to imagine the life.

It is strange, isn't it. I saw at some point some pictures from a fish market in Japan and the variety of fish and sea creatures was amazing. Most of the things there I have never seen before, some looked like monsters from a horror film to me - so I cannot imagine that they can be eaten. Yet, I am sure they are a regular dish on the table in Japan and I don't doubt at all that they are healthy and taste good. Its just my lack of experience that puts borders to my imagination :)

I see.
I can't still imagine how much
we eat fish in our daily life.
In my case, I eat it in the morning almost everyday.
