Japanese lifestyle ~61~ rainy season 梅雨(つゆ)

In Japan, it has become the rainy season.
Today is fine. But yesterday was rainy...
After this season, it suddenly becomes so hot season.

Is there the rainy season in your country?
For me, it's hard to guess how the season changes in foreign country.

um, if we ignore that it rains practically all the time in Denmark, then no - there is no rainy season here. The longest period I have seen without rain is 3 weeks - it was a weird summer :)

How long does the rainy season last in Japan?

Rainy season lasts about one
month. But it depends on the
year, of course.
Aren't there rainy days for
a few weeks in DK? That's
interesting. That must be dry
season.

In India we have rainy season from June-November.June-August is called monsoon season -southwest wind brings rain. There is no thunder or lightning.Drizzling all the time and there is sun too. These are beautiful days.During September to November its from north east direction due to cyclone with thunder and lightning.Dark during heavy rain. 'Mari' means Rain in TAMIL(one of the regional language of India). So you are rain rain:) Of course u r raining with information about Japan:)
